cramped bathroom shower issue

the staff was accommodating and kind, that i cannot deny.

I booked a standard twin room, but the bathroom felt cramped. using the shower made the floor very wet. There was no squeegee available. this made it quite inconvenient.

room cleanliness helpful staff generous portion thin walls blocked sink unavailable toast

i appreciated the cleanliness of the room , it was super clean upon my arrival. the bar staff were helpful , they readily assisted with drink selections. the food quality and portion sizes were generous , i found it very satisfying.

the walls seemed quite thin , i could hear conversations from adjacent rooms. the sink in the bathroom was blocked , this was rather unpleasant. the breakfast was disappointing , there was no toast available.

a quiet village getaway

easy access relaxed atmosphere hard work great food

The location is fabulous. It offered easy access to trails, close to many beautiful spots. i found a warm and relaxed atmosphere. i want to say this is due to the staff who work very hard with long hours. food was great, too.

The cleaning regime needs looking at. There was a lot of dust and cobwebs. the outside area looked particularly unloved.

The hotel enjoys a superb location. I found myself close to numerous picturesque spots and scenic hiking trails. it's settled in a peaceful village. A true escape. the warm atmosphere enhanced my stay.

I found the staff to be very friendly. the homemade food was good. the atmosphere was relaxed, and i appreciated the location near the yorkshire 3 peaks walk. it was a great base for exploring.

My room was a bit tired. The door didn't open very easily.

Lunch and dinner were tasty, i noticed that the breakfast room includes a coffee machine, made good coffee. bacon and sausage were available for breakfast sandwiches. Everything was well cooked.

the hotel is dog-friendly, the building features two open fires creating a cozy ambiance. the location offers easy access to amazing trails perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. it provides parking facilities arriving by car.

the staff was very helpful throughout my visit, i found the atmosphere in the bar to be good. the pub had real ales available, including Timothy Taylor and Settle brewery options. the team knew how to care for the beers.

the room was nice and neat, the bed was comfortable. the twin-bedded room was spacious, the bathroom was also spacious. breakfast was continental and included berries, granola, and yoghurt in addition to juices, cereals and pastries.
