the staff was accommodating and kind, that i cannot deny.

I booked a standard twin room, but the bathroom felt cramped. using the shower made the floor very wet. There was no squeegee available. this made it quite inconvenient.

i appreciated the cleanliness of the room , it was super clean upon my arrival. the bar staff were helpful , they readily assisted with drink selections. the food quality and portion sizes were generous , i found it very satisfying.

the walls seemed quite thin , i could hear conversations from adjacent rooms. the sink in the bathroom was blocked , this was rather unpleasant. the breakfast was disappointing , there was no toast available.

a quiet village getaway

The location is fabulous. It offered easy access to trails, close to many beautiful spots. i found a warm and relaxed atmosphere. i want to say this is due to the staff who work very hard with long hours. food was great, too.

The cleaning regime needs looking at. There was a lot of dust and cobwebs. the outside area looked particularly unloved.

I found the staff to be very friendly. the homemade food was good. the atmosphere was relaxed, and i appreciated the location near the yorkshire 3 peaks walk. it was a great base for exploring.

My room was a bit tired. The door didn't open very easily.

the staff was very helpful throughout my visit, i found the atmosphere in the bar to be good. the pub had real ales available, including Timothy Taylor and Settle brewery options. the team knew how to care for the beers.

the room was nice and neat, the bed was comfortable. the twin-bedded room was spacious, the bathroom was also spacious. breakfast was continental and included berries, granola, and yoghurt in addition to juices, cereals and pastries.
